Arm's Partner Ecosystem Catalog

Discover how Cylogy empowered Arm’s partner network to showcase their innovations through a secure, dynamic partner profile and catalog system.

Project Description

Arm’s business model relies heavily on its extensive partner network. To showcase these partnerships and facilitate new collaborations, we created a dynamic, user-generated catalog within arm.com, enabling potential customers to discover solutions that accelerate their time to market.

Objectives and Technical Implementation

The core challenge was enabling partners to manage their own profiles and content while adhering to Arm’s stringent security protocols.

  • We implemented a comprehensive authentication and authorization system, integrating with Arm’s Active Directory and single sign-on infrastructure. This ensures that only verified partners can access and update their profiles.

  • We also developed a seamless integration with Salesforce, allowing us to map authenticated users to their specific partner accounts.

Security

Security was paramount in this project. To address Arm’s concerns about potential vulnerabilities in uploaded content, we implemented an advanced quarantine and scanning system.

Using ClamAV, we created a continuous virus scanning process for all uploaded files.

  • These files are initially stored in a quarantine area within Azure Blob Storage.

  • Only after passing the security checks are they moved to a secure Cosmos DB database, which serves as the central repository for partner data and content.

Workflow Automation

We then developed an automated workflow to sync the submitted content with Sitecore, Arm’s content management system. This process generates new draft versions of partner pages and notifies Arm’s partner managers for review and approval. In addition:

  • It includes a feedback mechanism: when Arm reviews new partner submissions, they can provide detailed comments and suggestions directly to partners, allowing for collaborative refinement of profile content before publication.

  • It maintains the catalog’s relevance and usefulness for visitors: an automated system sends email reminders to partners when their profile pages have not been updated for 90 days, promoting quarterly content refreshes.

Coveo Integration

The partner catalog interface leverages Coveo integration to provide advanced search and filtering capabilities.

  • Users can easily navigate the extensive partner database using Arm’s taxonomy filters, such as markets, regions and Arm IP.

  • To enhance user experience, especially for newcomers, the catalog features a guided tour that helps visitors understand how to effectively use the catalog and find relevant partners.

Impressive Results

The results of this project have been remarkable. In the first year after launch, the partner ecosystem section experienced a staggering 484% year-over-year growth in traffic. This dramatic increase demonstrates the value and effectiveness of the new ecosystem in connecting partners and potential customers.

In conclusion, this project showcases Cylogy’s ability to deliver complex, secure, and high-performance solutions that drive real business results. By creating a platform that balances partner accessibility with rigorous security measures, we’ve helped Arm strengthen its ecosystem, increase visibility for its partners, and ultimately drive growth in its core business.

Key Results

  • 484% year-over-year increase in catalog traffic in the first year after launch
  • Since its launch, the partner ecosystem has grown to account for 3% of all traffic to Arm’s website
  • Arm has added hundreds of partners to its catalog, significantly contributing to an increase in collaborations and reduction in time to market
